The Japanese restaurant “Marusan Matsumoto” opened on October 22 in the former location of “Oshokujidokoro You-chan” in Higashiyama-cho.
(Thanks to maruko and sosuke@Ashi-tsu SP for the tip!)

↑Opening day. Congratulatory flowers kept arriving one after another! There was even a line before lunch service started!

↑The “Sashimi DX Set Meal + Sea Urchin” for 3,500 yen (tax included), which sosuke@Ashi-tsu SP had for lunch. Super luxurious!

↑The restaurant has two service periods: lunch from 10:30 to 15:00 and dinner from 16:30 to 20:30. Dinner reservations are apparently accepted.

↑There was a notice by the entrance saying, “No cash accepted. We’ll be cashless soon ← looks like we won’t make it in time… Sorry.” They plan to go cashless in the future, but on opening day the system wasn’t ready yet, so it was cash only.

↑A look at the restaurant during dinner service. It seems dinner was packed on the first day too!
