The Relay For Life Japan 2024 Ashiya, a charity event supporting cancer patients and the fight against cancer, will be held at Shinko Sports Ground (Kawanishi Athletic Field) and Shinko Sports Youth Center/Gymnasium (Ashiya Youth Center) in Kawanishi-cho, near Hanshin Ashiya Station, from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 until around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 8.

The event will feature talks by cancer survivors, a social gathering, a relay walk, a candlelight ceremony, and a candle run. There will also be official merchandise, hair donation and face-painting booths, a Saori weaving workshop, and vendors from around Ashiya selling bento boxes, sweets, snacks, and more.
