I went to the “Furyu Odori Ashiya Summer Festival”, held at Seido Elementary School on August 16〜
↑Since this was the very first time this event was held, I was excited to see what it would be like!
↑Maps and programs were being handed out at the entrance〜
↑Next to the stage in front of the school building, there were two danjiri festival floats lined up!
↑Over here were the kids’ favorites: a police car and a fire truck! There was a line of people waiting to take commemorative photos〜
↑There was even a Self-Defense Forces vehicle〜
↑Popular Ashiya establishments like “Hotel Takezono Ashiya”, “Bar Ashiya Nikki,” “Ashiya Torikiyo,” and “Shokuraku Hotaru” had food stalls set up! Pretty fancy〜!
↑On stage, students from the musical school “Dance of Hearts” near JR Ashiya Station performed a musical show, and…
↑There were also performances of danjiri bayashi festival music and Ise Ondo〜
↑At the end, everyone joined in for Bon Odori dancing! In addition to “Doraemon Ondo” and “Tanko Bushi”, we also got to enjoy Bon Odori to YOASOBI’s “Gunjou”, sung by students from “Dance of Hearts”〜
