A “Leaf Take-Home Kyoto Fair” will be held at the 3rd-floor event space of Mont et Mer, the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, from July 31 (Wed) to August 6 (Tue).

This collaboration event between Kyoto local information site “Leaf” and Daimaru Ashiya will apparently offer takeout sales of Kyoto sweets such as cookie tins, cheesecake, kuzu ice cream, butter sandwiches, canelés, and warabi mochi, as well as Kyoto gourmet items like ramen, curry, pizza, motsunabe, Chinese dishes, and curry udon.
In addition to room-temperature and refrigerated items, there will also be plenty of frozen products, so it might be a good idea to bring an insulated bag for taking things home!
