The former site of “洋服の青山 Ashiya Store” in Maedacho along National Route 2 looks like it’s going to become a showroom selling cars from sports car maker LOTUS.
↑A sign on the construction fence said “(Tentative name) Lotus Kobe New Construction Work”!
↑On the construction planning sign, the intended use had been updated to “Retail store (automobile sales), automobile repair shop, automobile garage”.

↑When we searched online, we found a page for the “LOTUS Kobe Opening Preparation Office”. It said the showroom is scheduled to have its grand opening around autumn 2024.

“LOTUS” is a sports car manufacturer based in Norfolk, England, and it seems the company is currently focusing mainly on electric sports EVs.
