↑After the closure, it looks like a six-story apartment building above ground with 11 residential units will be built here. Construction is scheduled to run from February 16 to November 30 of next year.

↑If you head this way (west), you’ll find “Times Chayanomachi” very close by. Farther along are Ogimasu Park and the cafe “茶と菓と いい日,” among other places.
↑If you go the opposite way (east), there’s the Italian restaurant “BARACCA ASHIYA” nearby, and you’ll come out onto Chaya Sakura-dori.
In closing
There is a “Times” parking lot very close by, but it’s smaller than the now-closed “Coin Park.”
The new apartment building will be six stories tall, so it looks like it’ll be a fairly large building. The cherry blossoms along Chaya Sakura-dori should be easy to see from the upper floors too. Sounds nice.
