The sweets pop-up shop “SWEETS TRIP”, which was on the 3rd floor of the main building of Mont et Mer, the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, closed as of January 8.

↑ The spot where “SWEETS TRIP” used to be is now surrounded by white walls, with a closure notice posted.
It was a short-term rotating pop-up sales shop that opened last September, selling sweets and breads from various shops, including a wide variety of 100-yen daifuku, puddings, and bagels.

↑ Location No. 8 on the map, where “SWEETS TRIP” was, is the spot that previously housed the sweet potato specialty shop “ROFUU.”

Since white temporary walls have been put up around the former “SWEETS TRIP” space, maybe they’re preparing a new shop? Judging from the trend so far, will it be another sweets-related shop after all? We’re curious.
