Near Hanshin Ashiya Station, it looks like the supermarket “Life Hanshin Ashiya Store” is scheduled to open on Tuesday, January 16 on the first floor of Geo Hanshin Ashiya, an apartment building currently under construction along the Hanshin Main Line tracks!

Area around “Life Hanshin Ashiya Store”
↑ If you head this way (north), you’ll soon reach the elevated tracks of the Hanshin Main Line. It’s currently under construction and not passable, but hopefully it’ll be open by the time the store opens. Across the elevated tracks is Takarajimaike Park, and if you keep going, you’ll reach the Naruo-Mikage Line.
↑ If you head the opposite way (south), you’ll find places like Food Bank Kansai and Stay Cool Sports Club, and then you’ll reach National Route 43.
Finally
Since residents are expected to start moving into the apartment building around March, I thought Life might open around then too, but it looks like it’ll be opening earlier, in January!
Nearby supermarkets include Pal Yamato Ashiya and Pantry Ashiya, but neither is especially large, so having more options with the opening of Life is definitely something to be happy about!
