DAISO Has Opened on the 4th Floor of Mont et Mer in Front of JR Ashiya Station. It’s a Smaller Store but Surprisingly Spacious and Busy

The 100-yen shop “DAISO Ashiya Mont et Mer Store” opened on September 29 inside “Mont et Mer,” the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station〜

↑ When I saw the store, my impression was, “It’s pretty big〜,” but officially it’s apparently classified as a “small-format store.” True, compared with places like the “Sunshine Wharf Kobe Store,” it would be on the smaller side.

I went on opening day and took a quick look around the store. In addition to daily necessities and household goods, the handicraft and cosmetics sections also seemed fairly well stocked. There were snacks and such too, but for now, I’d say the food selection is still on the modest side〜

Over the in-store announcement system, they were saying, “Today, DAISO has returned to Mont et Mer,” which might tug at the heartstrings a little for people who remember the old days!
