It looks like a tonkatsu restaurant called “とんかつ 多むら” is scheduled to open around mid-September along Sakura-dori in Kawanishi-cho〜
Screenshot from Townwork
↑ A part-time job listing was posted〜

↑ The exterior of the planned opening site. This is where the eel specialty restaurant “うなぎ亭一座 芦屋店” used to be.
Here’s the map↓
The address is Ashiyagawa View Heights 110, 7-3 Kawanishi-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area around “とんかつ 多むら”

↑ It’s one of the restaurant tenants lined up on the first floor of an apartment building on the west side of Sakura-dori. To the right as you face it is the French restaurant “LE MACCHAN.”

↑ If you go this way south, you’ll find places like “如来寺,” and you’ll reach the “青少年センター前” intersection where it meets the Naruo-Mikage Line, around the area with the gymnasium and Kawanishi Sports Ground.

↑ If you go the other way north, you’ll find the soba restaurant “芦屋 土山人,” “ローソン 芦屋川西店,” and the Thai restaurant “バーンタイ ASHIYA,” before reaching National Route 2.
Finally
It looks like it’ll be a relaxed restaurant with 6 counter seats and 12 table seats〜 Last December, “とんかつ ひぐち” opened along National Route 2, too, so maybe tonkatsu is having a moment in Ashiya right now〜
