A “Community School” (Comisuku) is a community group with the shared goal of creating a richer, more relaxed town through cultural activities, sports, welfare activities, local activities, and more that anyone can take part in. One is set up at each elementary school in the city.
This year’s “Summer Evening Gathering” is scheduled to feature bon odori dancing, danjiri festival music, festival stalls, stage events, and an awards ceremony for the Radio Exercise Rally held during summer vacation. It sounds like a local summer festival. Looks fun!
