We tried the new dessert set at “Cuisine Peri亭”, which reopened after renovations on April 12!
The Mille-Feuille, Ice Cream, and Drink Set at “Cuisine Peri亭”
“Dessert, Ice Cream, and Drink Set” 1,600 yen (tax included)
For dessert, you can choose from four options: mille-feuille, petits fours (an assortment of five different petits gâteaux), pancakes, or crêpes.
For the set drink, you can choose from coffee, tea, or herbal tea (rosehip and orange peel).
↑ Around the cream-filled mille-feuille were plenty of powdered sugar, fruit sauce, and fresh fruit! The ice cream served right alongside it looked very promising too!
↑ The custard cream was light and not too sweet, paired with crispy, flaky, slightly bitter caramelized puff pastry and just the right tartness from the fruit. It was such a perfect match that I felt like I could keep eating it forever!
↑ The ice cream that day was strawberry sorbet. It was incredibly smooth, with a rich, concentrated strawberry flavor that was absolutely irresistible!
It was a relaxing afternoon tea time with a truly authentic dessert!
The Menu at “Cuisine Peri亭”
↑ Here’s what the menu looks like after the renewal. In addition to the “Dessert, Ice Cream, and Drink Set” introduced above, they also had a “Sandwich, Cake, and Drink Set” and a “Cake, Ice Cream, and Drink Set”.
Compared with the previous lunch course, the menu now feels more casual and easier to enjoy, while still letting you properly savor pâtisserie cakes and authentic desserts!

↑ “Cuisine Peri亭” is located along the Naruo-Mikage Line, down the passage beside “PATISSERIE PERITEI.” Since it’s set a little back from the street, we were able to spend a quiet, relaxing time there!
