What is the “Ashiya Sakura Search Stamp Rally”?
This is a stamp rally event that takes you around shops in the city. It started after the annual “Ashiya Sakura Festival” was canceled due to the impact of COVID-19. This year, the “Ashiya Sakura Festival” will be held, but since it will be a scaled-down event for just one day, the stamp rally is being held again this year so people can enjoy Ashiya’s cherry blossoms for a little longer!
Participating shops will offer menus and products related to “sakura”, so you can feel the arrival of spring as you make your way through the stamp rally. When you spend 500 yen or more at a participating shop, you’ll receive one stamp, and depending on the number of stamps you collect, you can apply to win prizes!
*Stamps from the same shop will not be valid. Be sure to visit as many different shops as the number of stamps you need!
↑Once you’ve finished collecting stamps, you can submit your entry by mailing it to the Ashiya City Society of Commerce and Industry or bringing it there in person〜

A wide variety of shops are taking part, from new spots to long-established favorites, including the newly renovated cafe “Licorne”, the baked sweets shop “Imo Kuri Nankin ASHIYA” that opened last year, and “Edoyaki Unagi Mika,” founded in 1927!
