We bought some okaki rice crackers and senbei from the long-established senbei shop “田中金盛堂” along the Naruo-Mikage Line.
Okaki & Senbei from “田中金盛堂”

Right: “Tansan” 400 yen; bottom left: “Okaki Set” 200 yen (all prices include tax)
The “Ashiya Hon-dori Senbei” at the top left was a freebie we got with a friend-registration coupon from the official LINE account of the Hon-dori Shopping Association.

↑ “Tansan” is a carbonated senbei packed with lots of mini-size pieces!

↑ It has a light, simple flavor, and since each piece is bite-sized, it’s hard to stop munching on them! They might also be good soaked in milk like cereal, or topped with cheese or jam.

↑ This mini okaki set is an assortment that would be perfect as a small gift!

↑ Crunchy, light and crisp, snappy, salty, sweet… you can enjoy all kinds of textures and flavors at once, so it feels like a great deal!

↑ The kawara senbei we got with the coupon has the “Hon-dori Shopping Association” logo on it! It’s not too hard, but has just the right firm bite, making it perfect with tea.
