“Ashiya Beniya,” a fresh fish and prepared dishes shop run by a Japanese cuisine chef, had pre-opened on November 9 along Miyagawa Keyaki-dori!

Inside “Ashiya Beniya”

↑ The display case is lined with carefully selected fish chosen through the discerning eye of a Japanese cuisine chef. The fish is sourced from local Hyogo, as well as Toyosu and Kagoshima fishing ports, and they’ll slice it for sashimi after you place your order!

↑ It’s takeout-only at the moment, but there were three counter seats inside. You can sit here and wait while your sashimi is being prepared.

↑ The interior showed attention to detail throughout!

Final Thoughts
In addition to simple sashimi, you can also take home fish prepared with a Japanese chef’s extra touch, such as kombu-cured and vinegar-cured varieties! We’re planning to share a report after trying it ourselves on “Ashitsu Gourmet”!
