I had the plate set for lunch at Lucky hill, a Binchotan charcoal spare rib specialty shop that opened in Chaya-no-cho on August 23.

It comes with spare ribs, grilled corn, cabbage, rice, and a drink.
↑ It has meat, rice, and vegetables, so it’s nicely balanced! You can also add one extra spare rib for 352 yen (tax included).
↑ Freshly grilled over Binchotan charcoal, glossy and juicy spare ribs…! Just looking at them is irresistible!
↑ The bone-in meat is tender enough but still satisfyingly meaty, coated in a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce!
↑ You can eat it with a fork and knife, but they also provide plastic gloves for both hands, so…
↑ It’s totally OK to grab the bone and bite right in!
↑ Even if you prefer using a fork and knife, the meat stuck to the bone is definitely easier to eat by picking it up with your hands.
↑ And the grilled corn is the kind you’ll want to hold in your hands and munch on!
↑ Mustard and ichimi chili pepper are included too, so you can switch up the flavor partway through.
↑ As part of their opening campaign, following their official Instagram account got me a kakigori shaved ice, 165 yen (tax included), for free! You can choose from lemon, melon, or strawberry.
↑ A chilled dessert service like this is way too nice!
