I tried some baked sweet potato sweets at “Imo Pippi. Ashiya,” a takeout-only sweet potato dessert shop that opened on March 26 on B1F of the East Building of “La Porte,” the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station!

This dessert is made with richly sweet baked sweet potatoes aged for three months, with a sugar content of over 50 degrees, topped with custard and brûléed on the surface!
The crisp candy-like surface really raises expectations!
Both the custard and the sweet potato are incredibly melty!
The super sweet, smooth sweet potato blends together with the custard, and paired with the crisp brûléed topping, it’s excellent.
This is a baked sweet potato dessert that anyone with a sweet tooth will love!
