It looks like the women’s fashion shop “Light＆Shade Ashiya”, located on the 2nd floor of the main building of “La Porte,” the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, will be closing today, Tuesday, February 15.

The shop was founded in 1884 as “Waso Komono Woritа” and the Ashiya location has apparently been in business for more than 35 years, ever since La Porte’s main building opened in 1986. That’s sad to hear…

It’s on the 2nd floor of the main building, next to the escalator and across from the women’s fashion shop “Baby Blue.”
Since today is the last day of business, it looks like they’re also holding a final sale. Sample items and display fixtures are reportedly being sold as well. You might just find a great bargain!
