It looks like a new restaurant called “薪火Restaurant K2” is planning to open on Tuesday, February 22 along Miyagawa Keyaki-dori in Higashiyama-cho!

↑ It’s scheduled to open on the basement level, at the bottom of the stairs on the left when viewing the “NEST ASHIYA” building from the south side.
↑ Interior construction seemed to be underway!
↑ The building also houses an orthopedic clinic, a pharmacy, a training gym, and more.

↑ If you head this way (north), you’ll find places like “ほのかの果実,” “Ashiya Municipal Iwazono Elementary School,” and “天ぷら＆ワイン いわい.”

Final thoughts
At the Western-style restaurant “K2,” hamburg steak and omurice seem to be popular menu items! I wonder if they’ll be available at the new location too. Looking forward to it!
