I had the daily lunch curry at the Indian and Nepalese curry restaurant “Namaste Ganesha Mahal Ashiya (Miyagawa)”, located along National Route 2 next to the ramen shop “Furin.”
The Daily Lunch “Taro and Chicken Curry” at “Namaste Ganesha Mahal Ashiya”

“Daily Lunch” 900 yen (tax included)
The curry of the day was “Taro and Chicken Curry”!

First of all, the naan is huge!!
Indian and Nepalese curry restaurants are known for big naan, but this one is really large.

It comes with naan (or rice), the daily curry, salad, soup, and a drink.
The soup was a thick, garlicky soup.

Chicken curry with taro? That was my first thought, but the well-simmered taro had a creamy texture and gave the curry a mild flavor!
The base tasted a bit like butter chicken curry.

It paired perfectly with the buttery naan!

For my drink, I chose lassi! Other options included mango lassi and chai.
