I got takeout of the famous ohagi from Japanese sweets shop “芦屋樂膳 芦屋打出店” in Nangucho, south of Hanshin Uchide Station and just across Route 43!
Three Autumn Ohagi from “芦屋樂膳 芦屋打出店”

From the left: “Pumpkin Ohagi” 248 yen (tax included)
“Chestnut Mont Blanc Ohagi” 356 yen (tax included)
“Naruto Kintoki Ohagi” 248 yen (tax included)
These ohagi feature classic autumn flavors: sweet potato, chestnut, and pumpkin!

The “Pumpkin Ohagi” is shaped like a jack-o’-lantern for Halloween! So cute.

The pumpkin bean paste has no grassy taste and is really easy to enjoy!
All of the ohagi contain black rice, giving them a chewy texture with a fun little pop♪

The “Chestnut Mont Blanc Ohagi” is a beautiful ohagi that looks almost like a cake!

It has a rich chestnut flavor, but since it’s made without cream or dairy products, it still tastes light and easy to eat!

The “Naruto Kintoki Ohagi” is made with yuzu-flavored Naruto Kintoki sweet potato paste!

The refreshing aroma of yuzu and the sweetness of the sweet potato go perfectly together! So refined.
