It looks like Norihiro Akahoshi, a former Hanshin Tigers player, will be holding a wheelchair donation ceremony and lecture at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 28 at Ashiya City Gymnasium and Youth Center in Kawanishi-cho.

As part of Ashiya City’s 80th anniversary commemorative project, the first part of the event will feature a “wheelchair donation ceremony” and lecture, an initiative Akahoshi has continued since his active playing days.
The second part will also include a hands-on para-sports experience with “boccia” and “flying disc.”

Applications to attend the first part will be accepted from Monday, November 1 by phone (0797-38-2055) or fax (0797-38-2175) through the city’s Human Rights and Gender Equality Division.
Applications for the second part are handled separately by the Sports Promotion Division (TEL 0797-22-7910 / FAX 0797-22-1633).
