I got takeout bento from Karaage specialty shop “Kishikara Konan Yamate”, which opened on September 5 near JR Konan-Yamate Station!
“Korean-Style Spicy Karaage Bento” from “Kishikara Konan Yamate”

“Korean-Style Spicy Karaage Bento” Manpuku S size 770 yen (tax included)
The regular size comes with 6 pieces of karaage, while the Manpuku S size comes with 4 pieces.

The bento includes rice, karaage, cabbage, umeboshi, pickles, and mayonnaise.
The mayonnaise comes separately, and there’s plenty of it, so both mayo lovers and those who aren’t so into mayo can enjoy it.

The karaage is coated in a Korean-style mildly spicy sauce! It goes perfectly with rice and cabbage!

Even though the sauce was thoroughly coating the chicken, the batter still stayed nice and crispy. Nicely done!

The miso soup comes in a cup with a lid. I was on my bicycle and accidentally let it roll around in the bag a couple of times, but it didn’t leak from the cup on the way home!
Menu at “Kishikara Konan Yamate”

You can also eat in and order set meals with the same contents as the bento. Of course, you can also buy karaage on its own!

With the bento, you can enjoy karaage flavors that aren’t available as individual items! (Korean-style karaage is also not sold separately.)
