It looks like kimono dressing school “Kimono Road MICHIKO” and ballet school “Emur Ballet School” are opening at the former site of tea specialty shop “Le Luxe Ashiya Main Store” near JR Ashiya Station.

Area around “Kimono Road MICHIKO” and “Emur Ballet School”
It is located northwest of JR Ashiya Station, along Ashiya Ekimae-dori street on the north side. To the immediate left as you face it is interior select and coordination shop “itten,” which opened on May 19.
If you head this way, east, you’ll find places like “Hakariuri Yakiniku Hana,” steakhouse “Jackson’s N.Y.DINER,” and “Ekimae Ryugaku NOVA Ashiya School.” Farther ahead are “Laporte” and “Mont et Mer,” which are directly connected to JR Ashiya Station.
If you head the opposite way, west, you’ll find places like “Ashiya Roko” and “Torikizoku Ashiya.” Farther on are “Matsunouchi Ryokuchi” and “Taisho Bridge,” which crosses the Ashiya River.
Across the street is “Alpa Ashiya,” which houses many restaurants and other shops.
Final thoughts
After Le Luxe closed, interior work seemed to be going on for quite a while, so I was curious what would open there. It looks like two classes, kimono dressing and ballet, will be moving in!
I wonder if they’ll share the same space by dividing up the schedule, like certain days of the week and a set number of classes each week? It’s a street-level shop right by the station, so it seems easy to get to.
