We had lunch at “Kofuru Shokudo,” a cozy diner in Tsuji-cho with a wonderfully nostalgic atmosphere!
“Kofuru Shokudo”’s “Tonkatsu Set Meal”

“Tonkatsu Set Meal” 700 yen (tax included)

It has a nostalgic feel, like you’ve come over to a friend’s house, with a home-style tonkatsu!

It’s not the thick kind of tonkatsu you’d find at a specialty tonkatsu restaurant, but this kind of “home-cooked taste” is surprisingly hard to find when eating out.

It also comes with two side dishes, making it filling and healthy! The miso soup had plenty of ingredients too.
“Kofuru Shokudo” Menu

All set meals are offered for 700 yen, with mains like fried dishes such as tonkatsu, minced meat cutlet, croquettes, and fried shrimp, as well as stir-fried dishes like vegetable stir-fry and ginger pork. Each set comes with rice, miso soup, and two small side dishes.
You can also order the same menu items as takeout bento boxes!

They also seem to offer a morning breakfast menu from 8:00 to 11:00.
