*Update 8/2 (Mon): The summer-only beer garden has been canceled
A summer-only beer garden has been running since July 22 at the former Ministry of Communications Ashiya Annex, “Ashiya Monolith,” in Omasucho near Hanshin Ashiya Station. It runs until Tuesday, August 31.

“Ashiya Monolith” is a renovated version of the former Ashiya Post Office Telephone Office, which is registered as a national Tangible Cultural Property. It is mainly used as a wedding venue.
At the beer garden, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink draft beer, of course, plus highballs, a variety of sours, 20 kinds of cocktails, wine, and more!
The food menu also sounds promising, with grill plates featuring beef chuck roll, spare ribs, sausages, plus fried foods, edamame, and more.
The venue is probably the rooftop where you can see what looks like those parasols! It looks like a special, out-of-the-ordinary experience on the rooftop of a historic building!
