It looks like “香港厨房 神戸深江店” is opening on the south side of Hanshin Fukae Station, in a spot visible from the station. This is where “炭火焼鳥 はる 深江南店” used to be. (I feel like some other izakaya was there after “はる,” but I can’t remember…)
The sign says “Takeout welcome. Banquets accepted. 60 seats OK,” so it looks like they’ll be offering both dine-in and takeout.

Area around “香港厨房 神戸深江店”
It’s located along the Honjo-Motoyama Line (Inari-suji), which runs north-south in front of Fukae Station, between “Mainichi Shimbun Fukae Sales Office” and “Bar area.”
If you go this way (south), you’ll find “大日霊女神社（おおひるめじんじゃ）,” “大日会館,” “セブン-イレブン 神戸深江本町３丁目店,” “松尾商店,” and others, before reaching National Route 43.
If you go the other way (north), you’ll see the Fukae police box on the right and the entrance to Hanshin Fukae Station on the left. After passing under the elevated tracks, there’s “セブン-イレブン 神戸阪神深江駅北店” on the left, followed by places like “炭火焼鳥 はる 深江店” and “得得 阪神深江店.” Once you cross the Naruo-Mikage Line, you’ll find “コープこうべ.”
Across the street is the onigiri specialty shop “ONIGIRI ICHIGO.”
Final Thoughts
This location has seen izakaya come and go, and after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, its shutter had stayed closed for quite a while. Now it looks like a new shop is finally opening!
“香港厨房” seems to be a chain with locations around Japan, but I couldn’t find an official website listing all of them… Maybe it’s a franchise? Hopefully it’ll be good!
