The apple trees planted between the sidewalk and the road in Kurekawa-cho, just north of Rinko Line, were covered with fruit!

There are so many! They’re growing in clusters!

Some branches stretch out over the path, bringing the apples this close!

They still have a lot of growing to do—they’re much smaller than my child-sized palm.

There are 53 apple trees along Rinko Line in total. They were reportedly planted as a symbol of hope during the recovery from the earthquake.
Local volunteers take great care of these trees, so please don’t pick any of the fruit without permission!

They’re growing day by day, so it’s fun to check on them while you’re out jogging or cycling!
Here’s the location on the map ↓
