“France Pan Jinja Ashiya Main Store,” a shop specializing in soft French bread, opened on May 31 on the 1st floor of the East Building of Laporte, directly connected to JR Ashiya Station!
I went there around 14:45 on opening day, and there was quite a crowd!

Opening Day at “France Pan Jinja Ashiya Main Store”
There were lots of congratulatory flowers too!
They were using a numbered ticket system, and as of around 14:45, the next sale was for the batch due to be baked at 15:50.
That batch was apparently the final bake of opening day!
When I went back to the shop around 15:50…
The crowd was gone, and there was a sign!
It looks like everything prepared for opening day had sold out! The staff also looked happy that so much had sold.
