Autumn Hokkaido Fair
The tagline is “Take a Trip Around Hokkaido!” This fair will bring together famous sweets and gourmet specialties from all over Hokkaido, spread across three floors: the event space on the 3rd floor of Mont et Mer’s main building, the 1st floor, and the basement level. There will also be quite a few vendors appearing at the Ashiya store for the first time.

- 〈Yubari / Akatsuki Patisserie Furuta〉First appearance at the Ashiya store. Rich soft-serve made with Hokkaido milk: “Maji Cheese” for ¥780 and “Maji Milk” for ¥730. There will reportedly be an eat-in area too 🍦
- The same shop’s “Sapporo neo Cheesecake,” ¥730, has a delightfully chewy texture with strawberry warabi mochi inside. The “Wamurette,” ¥540, is an omelet-shaped cake filled with banana, whipped cream, chunky red bean paste, and gyuhi mochi 🍰

Final Thoughts
With five vendors making their first-ever appearance at the Ashiya store, this is shaping up to be quite an impressive event〜 Personally, I’m especially curious about the “Maji Cheese” soft-serve you can enjoy in the eat-in area. Classic Hokkaido favorites like Shiroi Koibito and Marusei Butter Sandwiches will also be available, so it looks like a convenient place to shop for souvenirs. Since the fair is spread across three floors, be sure to check out the 1st floor, 3rd floor, and basement when you visit〜
