Re-Re-Re Meets! (Expanded Book & Used Clothing Swap Event)
For one day only, the usual Book & Used Clothing Swap will be held on a much larger scale. In addition to books and used clothing, there will be special swap events for tableware, toys, children’s shoes, pens, and notebooks. Organizations and companies involved in environmental initiatives will also gather in one place to host workshops and seminars.
Whether you bring lots of items or come empty-handed, everyone is welcome. It sounds like you can even just stop by for a look.

※Tableware, toys, children’s shoes, pens, and notebooks can be dropped off in advance at Lead Ashiya 2F on Saturday, October 31, 14:00–16:00.

What will be happening?

- Book and used clothing swap, a curated book corner by Kaze Bunko, and collection of recyclable resources including paper, lithium-ion batteries, household oil, and mercury-containing items 📚

- Tableware, toys, children’s shoes, pens, and notebooks. Available on this day only 🍽️
- 【Workshops & Social Events: 13:00–16:00／Lead Ashiya Meeting Rooms A–D】
- Recycled-paper crafts by Co-op Kobe’s District 2 Headquarters, resin keychains made with marine debris (¥300 participation fee), and a beginner sewing class to make coasters (¥100 participation fee) ✂️
- An umbrella-upcycling demonstration and exhibition will be held from 13:30 to 14:00. There will also be a workshop for making mascots from shawls (¥300) and an exhibition on clothing darning ☂️
- A composting workshop and social event will run from 13:00 to 13:50, followed by a biotope nest session from 15:00 to 15:50, both hosted by Amagaeru Co., Ltd. “A Gathering Place to Talk About Daily Life and the Environment” will be held from 14:00 to 14:50 🌱

- Home organization seminars (13:00–13:30 and 14:20–14:50), plus organization consultations and an exhibition of books about decluttering (13:00–16:00) 📖
- The illustrated seminar “How Paper Becomes a Resource” will be held from 13:40 to 14:10 and 15:00 to 15:30. There will also be an exhibition of hats made from recycled fabric and a collection point for unwanted eyeglasses 👓
How much does it cost?
Admission is free
※Only some workshops require a fee: ¥300 for making a resin keychain, ¥100 for the sewing class coaster project, and ¥300 for making a mascot from a shawl.

No reservation is required. Simply come to the venue on the day.

※Books and used clothing may be brought in free of charge. Depending on their condition, stained or damaged items may be deemed unsuitable for swapping. Shoes and bags are not accepted, although children’s shoes may be brought to the special swap event. Please note that items cannot be accepted outside the event hours.

In Closing
Since this is an expanded edition of the monthly swap event, it will be packed with workshops and seminars. Turning umbrellas into eco-bags, marine debris into keychains, and shawls into mascots sounds like a fun way to see unwanted items transformed into something completely different. You can come empty-handed, too, so it might be a nice place to stop by casually with your children.
