Unagi Shinsaitei Is Opening Near JR Ashiya Station Its Main Location Is in Nishinomiya

It looks like “Unagi Shinsaitei Ashiya,” an unagi eel specialty restaurant, is opening in La Mall Ashiya on Ekimae-dori, near JR Ashiya Station.

↑ A poster advertising part-time positions was posted on the shutter. The restaurant has also launched an official Instagram account and is apparently scheduled to open around mid-November.

Unagi Shinsaitei is an unagi eel specialty restaurant located along the Yamate Kansen road in Nakasusacho, Nishinomiya. It serves Kansai-style unagi, which is butterflied from the belly and quickly grilled over high heat.

↑ It is a street-level storefront on the first floor of La Mall Ashiya along Ekimae-dori. To the left is the former location of “Acai Kobo Ashiya” (now closed), while “Sanko Gazai” is next door on the right.

↑ Head this way (east) along Ekimae-dori and you’ll reach Kamimiyagawa Bridge, which crosses the Miyagawa River. Continue farther down the road and you’ll find places including the “DESTINATION” pastry shop.

↑ Head in the opposite direction (west) and you’ll pass “Pizza Hut La Mall Ashiya” and “Organic Plaza La Mall Ashiya,” among other shops. Continue farther and you’ll arrive in front of JR Ashiya Station, where Mont et Mer and La Porte are located.

↑ Across the street are “Nana Whitening Salon Ashiya” and the south entrance to Ohara Park.
