A new discount supermarket, Sundi Ashiya, opened on September 17 in Daitocho in the Uchide area, so we stopped by around lunchtime on opening day!

↑This was the scene around lunchtime on opening day. The parking lot wasn’t full, but quite a few cars were parked there.
↑Lots of bicycles were parked in the bicycle parking areas on the north and west sides of the building, and customers kept arriving one after another. Maybe a lot of people come here by bike.
↑Customers streamed into the store one after another. It was packed and incredibly lively inside! It also felt like plenty of people had come from outside the city.
↑Here’s what we bought that day. We picked up quite a few things, but still got change from ¥1,000, which was a nice surprise.
