What will you do?

- Participants ages 6–64 will take part in grip-strength testing, sit-ups, seated forward bends, repeated side steps, the 20-meter shuttle run, and the standing long jump 💪
- Participants ages 65–79 will take part in grip-strength testing, sit-ups, seated forward bends, standing on one leg with eyes open, a 10-meter obstacle walk, and a six-minute walk 🚶
- You can also get advice on improving your health and fitness from Ashiya City sports leaders and nurses 🩺
- Please bring a towel, indoor gym shoes, and something to keep you hydrated 🧴

50 participants (Walk-ins are also welcome on the day, provided they register during the registration period.)
Who can participate?
Anyone ages 6–79. Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
How to apply
Apply using the online registration form by Wednesday, November 18. If there are too many applicants, participants will be selected by lottery.

You don’t get many chances to try the 20-meter shuttle run once you’re an adult, do you? In fact, it was only introduced as a fitness-test event in FY1999, so there may be quite a few people who have never tried it. You can also get free health advice from a nurse, so this could be a great event for the whole family.
