A sign has gone up at Sukiya Route 2 Ashiya Shimizucho, a gyudon restaurant scheduled to open around September along National Route 2 in Shimizucho.

Here’s how the building looks from the front. As expected, it faces west.

A clock has been installed on the pencil-shaped clock tower. It doesn’t seem to be running yet—the hands were set to 12:00.

Here’s the view from the east. There’s even a sign on the back, despite it being partly hidden by the neighboring building.

It looks like there’s still plenty of work to be done on the interior and exterior.

The parking lot looks like it’ll be fairly spacious too, so the restaurant should be easy to visit by car from Route 2. Since it’s close to the border with Kobe, it’ll probably attract plenty of customers from Kobe as well.

Seeing the sign go up really builds the excitement! We can’t wait to find out exactly when in September it’ll open!
