So people seem to see Ikari Supermarket as more upscale than Pantry or Seijo Ishii. It might be a little surprising to see Co-op ranked that high.
In Ashiya, there are the “Ikari Ashiya Store” in Iwazono-cho and the “Ikari JR Ashiya Store” in Narihira-cho!

Ikari Supermarket has a strong “Ashiya” image, but it seems that neither its headquarters nor its main store is actually in Ashiya.

The first store, “Tsukaguchi Store,” is the main store, and the headquarters is also located in Tsukaguchi-cho, Amagasaki City.

“Ashiya Store” is listed right at the top!
It really feels like the company is putting Ashiya front and center…
They also develop and sell original products such as “Ashiya Madeleine” and “Ikari Ashiya Hotcake Mix.”
It may be called “privileged class,” but they also have sweets and other fairly affordable items, so if you’ve never been, why not stop by and take a look?
