I picked up two kinds of “Ashiya Madeleine” from Ikari JR Ashiya, located just south of JR Ashiya Station!

The plain one is a simple madeleine with a lovely buttery aroma.
The walnut maple has a rich flavor, with fragrant nuts and maple syrup coming through clearly.
I’d love to enjoy either one slowly with a cup of milk tea♪
Store Information for “Ikari JR Ashiya”
It’s located just south of JR Ashiya Station! I wonder what will happen with the station-front redevelopment…!? I’m curious.
In addition to madeleines, they sell Ikari original sweets such as mini kugelhopf, brownies, financiers, and pound cakes! Gift sets are also available.
The “Ikari Ashiya Hotcake Mix” also seems to be popular, and there were lots of them displayed in a prominent spot!
