An overnight training event where participants can experience staying in an evacuation shelter will reportedly be held at Ashiya Municipal Yamate Elementary School in Yamatecho from Wednesday, August 19 to Thursday, August 20.

During this realistic two-day, one-night drill, participants will eat meals made from emergency food supplies, set up partitions and other equipment, and experience the conditions of an evacuation shelter immediately after a disaster.

The address is 8-3 Yamatecho, Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
It is an 11-minute walk from Ashiyagawa Station on the Hankyu Kobe Line and a seven-minute walk from the Hankyu Bus Kaimoribashi stop. Those arriving by bicycle or motorcycle should enter through the west gate. Visitors may not come by car.

※Meals will consist of emergency food supplies. Bathing and shower facilities will not be available. Since the sleeping arrangements will simulate a real evacuation shelter, participants are advised to bring any items they may need.

※Anyone under the age of 18 participating without an adult must submit a consent form completed by a parent or guardian.
