It was reportedly featured on the TV Tokyo program “JAPANをスーツケースにつめ込んで,” broadcast on Monday, June 23 and starring Kamaitachi and Eriko Kusuda. The response was far greater than expected, and there is currently a one-year wait for chocolate Baum rusks from the online shop. The item is also temporarily sold out at the store.
Other Baumkuchen and baked goods appear to still be available, although the shop may have fewer items than usual. The episode should be available to watch on TVer until around Monday, June 29.

Final Thoughts
This Baumkuchen specialty shop was already popular, but being featured on TV has clearly generated an incredible response. Products other than the chocolate Baum rusk still appear to be available in-store, so why not take this opportunity to try the plain Baum rusks or the shop’s hand-baked Baumkuchen?
