The “Gourmet Map 2026” has been released for the 48th Ashiya Summer Carnival, taking place on Saturday, August 1!
The Summer Carnival’s “Gourmet Map” is a new initiative launched this year. It helps you find great food to enjoy on the day of the event—and if you spot a place that looks good, you can always visit it another day, too!
The map features a total of 23 restaurants and shops in Ashiya City and the Konan-Yamate area. Some of them will apparently be offering special menu items available only on the day of the festival!
↑ A Google Maps version is also available. It could be handy for finding food near your current location!
Applications are now open for sponsored viewing-area tickets and Civic Plaza admission tickets (priority given to Ashiya residents) for the Ashiya Summer Carnival.
You won’t be able to enter the venue without a ticket or admission pass, so don’t forget to make arrangements in advance!
