It looks like delivery pizza chain Pizza Hut is opening on the 1st floor of La Mall Ashiya along Ekimae-dori, near JR Ashiya Station.

↑This is where the Pizza Hut sign has gone up. The shutter was still down, but…

↑The hanging sign has the Pizza Hut logo. By the way, apparently the “Hut” in Pizza Hut means “hut,” not “hat.”

Around “Pizza Hut La Mall Ashiya”

↑It’s on the 1st floor of La Mall Ashiya on the south side of Ekimae-dori, in the spot where “Ashiya Iwai” used to be. Facing the shop, “Ashiya Photo Studio” is on the left and “L.kitchen” is on the right.

↑If you head this way (west), you’ll find places like “Organic Plaza La Mall Ashiya” and “Masaya JR Ashiya Higashi,” and you’ll come out in front of JR Ashiya Station, where Mont et Mer and Laporte are located.

↑If you head the opposite way (east), you’ll pass the former site of “Unagi no Naruse Ashiya” (now closed), “MAINDISH DELICATESSEN,” the former site of “Acai Kobo Ashiya” (now closed), and after crossing the Miyagawa River you’ll enter Shinnozukacho.

↑Across the street are places like “Times JR Ashiya Ekimae No. 5,” “Shigemura Osteopathic Clinic,” “Ashiya SOLA Early Childhood Classroom,” and “Ohara Park.”
