↑It’s a street-level shop on the first floor of an apartment building with a red-brick-style exterior. On the right, facing the shop, is the handicraft store “CHECK&STRIPE fabric&things.”

↑If you head this way (north) along Narihira Sakura-dori, you’ll be going toward Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station. (The ticket gates are on the other side of the Ashiyagawa River.)

↑If you go the opposite way (south), you’ll find places like “Ashiya Paré Elegance,” “boulangerie wada,” and “Terrasse Daniel,” and then reach National Route 2.

↑Across the street is the Ashiyagawa River (near Tsukiwaka Bridge).

↑They also have beautifully designed boxed castella.

↑They also had round Taiwanese castella called “Fluffy”〜

↑There were also rusks made from castella, plus egg-white cookies called tuiles〜

↑In addition to sweets, they were also selling children’s toys, jam, syrup, and more〜

↑There was also a space like this inside… It looks like they’re planning to start eat-in service once things settle down〜 (For now, it’s takeout only.)

Final Thoughts
The castella sold by the piece comes with all kinds of branded designs, so it’s hard to choose, but that’s part of the fun〜! Since each piece is individually wrapped, they’re easy to hand out when you have a lot of people and make a perfect souvenir.
