It looks like an affiliated shop of “噂の八百屋” is opening right in front of Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station.

↑A notice has been posted at the planned opening site saying, “Early 2026 【ウワサ】 Open By 噂の八百屋.”
Since it says “By 噂の八百屋,” maybe it’s not exactly a greengrocer itself, but more like an affiliated shop? Wonder what kind of business style it will be.
“噂の八百屋” is a greengrocer with its main store in Shukugawa, Nishinomiya City, and it seems to have branches in Koshien and Mukonoso in Amagasaki City as well.
↓Apparently, the Shukugawa main store once operated as a standing bar in the evenings too. (This has now ended.)

↑It’s just south of the ticket gates at Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station. On the right side facing it are the entrances to the cram schools “進学館 芦屋川校” and “個別館 芦屋川校,” and on the left side is a taxi stand.
↑If you go this way (north), Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station is right there, and beyond the station is “Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station Plaza.”
↑If you go the other way (south), you’ll find the bookstore “大利昭文堂,” “たけのこ薬局 芦屋川店,” “ローソン 芦屋川駅前店,” the chocolate specialty shop “cherry.c,” “月若公園,” and more.
Across the street is the Ashiyagawa River.
Finally
Near Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station, there’s already a greengrocer called “助八” inside the Ashiya Yamate Sun Mall shopping street.
It’ll be interesting to see whether the new shop will be a greengrocer, or a different type of business that makes use of greengrocer products.
