A Library Book Return Box Has Been Installed in Front of Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station

A book return box has been installed at Seiza no Hiroba plaza, just north of Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station〜

↑The “Ashiya City Library Book Return Box” installed in a corner of the plaza

↑It’s a stylish brown wooden box. You can use it to return books from Ashiya City Library (excluding books that come with CDs), books from community center libraries, and books from the Kamimiyagawa Culture Center.

*Materials borrowed through interlibrary cooperation with other cities, as well as books from libraries outside Ashiya, schools, and other institutions, cannot be returned here.

↑The box was reportedly donated last December by Soroptimist International Ashiya, a women’s service organization, to commemorate its 30th anniversary〜

Apparently, the book return box in front of JR Ashiya Station was also donated by the same organization!

↑It looks like Mayor Takashima returned a book during the ceremony, too. What a cute picture book〜

↑Since it’s right by the station, returning books while commuting to work or school—or when heading out—will be much easier〜. When books are this easy to return, it feels easier to borrow them too, which is great♪
