It looks like a five-story clinic is going to be built along National Route 2 in Miyazuka-cho, near JR Ashiya Station.

↑A construction plan sign was posted. The intended use is listed as a “clinic”, with a five-story steel-frame structure above ground, and the planned construction period is from June 1 this year to April 15 next year.

↑Here’s what the planned construction site looks like. This is where “Dai-ichi Life Insurance Ashiya Branch” used to be.
Here’s the map↓
The address is 1-5 Miyazuka-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around the Planned Clinic Site

↑It’s on the south side of National Route 2, right in front of the Hanshin Bus “JR Ashiya Ekimae” bus stop. Facing the site, “Lawson Store 100 Ashiya Miyazuka-cho” is on the left, and “Sakura Seikotsuin” is on the right.

↑If you go this way, east, you’ll find places like “Ashiya Ramen An Main Store,” “Koganeya Shokudo,” “Jizo Park,” “Royal Host Ashiya,” and “RYU・RYU Ashiya.” This leads toward Uchide and Shukugawa.

↑If you go the opposite way, west, you’ll find places like the “apollostation Self Ashiya SS” gas station, “Nakayama Dental Clinic,” the bicycle shop “Rinrin Ashiya,” and “Baskin-Robbins Ashiya Roadside.” This leads toward Ashiyagawa.

↑Across the street are places like “Ashiya Substation” and the recycle shop “Ashiya ARTE.”
Finally
A five-story clinic means it’s either going to be a really big clinic, or maybe a medical mall with several facilities inside, right? But if it were a medical mall, you’d often expect a dispensing pharmacy too. We’ll share more once the details become clear!
