It looks like Paddy by WAFONA Daimaru Ashiya, a pet supply specialty shop, will open on the 2nd floor of Daimaru Ashiya, the department store directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, starting Wednesday, January 21〜

“Paddy by WAFONA” is a pet supply specialty shop directly operated by WAFONA, a pet care brand that uses plant-based ingredients. They apparently also have shops at Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo and Daimaru Tokyo.

Renovations on the 2nd floor of Daimaru Ashiya began this December, and the opening of “Paddy by WAFONA” seems to be part of that project.
The shop will also have a fitting room for small dogs（up to around 12kg）. When using it, it seems you’ll need to bring your dog in a carrier case and take the route shown on the map〜
