The “Laporte Ennichi” festival will be held at Laporte, the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, on Sunday, August 24, from 11:00 to 18:00!

This summer festival event features lots of food stalls and ennichi game stalls every year around Laporte East Building and the Main Building! This year’s theme seems to be “Jumbo”.

Jumbo yo-yos
Food stalls (shaved ice, yakisoba, fried chicken, takoyaki, and more. Some shops from the East Building will also be joining!)
Game stalls (12 kinds in total, including smart ball, coin drop, shooting gallery, shuriken throwing, ring toss, jumbo dice, and more)
Starting this year, stalls will be set up not only on the 1st floor, but also on the 2nd-floor pedestrian deck!
How much does it cost?
Admission is free (each food and game stall costs extra. Ennichi games are 100 yen per play.)

Final Thoughts
↑At the opening of the “Laporte Ennichi” every year, the mayor also comes and enjoys the games with the kids. We wonder if Mayor Takashima will come again this year. The many food stalls are something to look forward to every year too!
