The art gallery “Gallery Nabetamo JR Ashiya Station Store,” formerly located on the first floor of the La Porte Main Building, a shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, closed on June 21.

↑ The gallery’s final exhibition was reportedly a showcase of works from gallery owner Tamotsu Nabeshima’s collection. Following the closure, the gallery is expected to relocate and reopen around September as the “Ashiyagawa Store.”
According to another post, the former space is also set to be transformed into a new gallery. We’re looking forward to seeing what kind of gallery it will become!
