Near Hanshin Fukae Station, along the Naruo-Mikage Line, Sichuan cuisine (Chinese cuisine) restaurant “汇源楼(かいげんろう)” opened on June 3〜

↑For one week after opening, through Tuesday, June 10, it looks like everything, including drinks, is 20% off, and draft beer is 250 yen!

↑The exterior of “汇源楼.” This is where the udon restaurant “朝日屋” used to be.
Here’s the map↓
The address is 4-11-35 Fukaekitamachi, Higashinada-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area around “汇源楼”

↑It’s on the semi-basement-style first floor of Iida Building, which has places like “串くし本舗” and “カレー館バグースマカーン” on the second floor.

↑The entrance faces south.

↑If you go this way (west), you’ll find places like izakaya “マルちゃん,” “丸市精肉店,” “フラワーショップなかにし,” and “深江けやきの木小規模保育園.”

↑If you go the other way (east), there are places like pachinko parlor “PSAヴィクトリー本館,” “焼肉の牛太 本陣 深江店,” “スギ薬局 阪神深江店,” and “尼崎信用金庫 深江支店,” heading toward Ashiya City.
Menu at “汇源楼”

↑In addition to mapo tofu, which seems to be the signature dish, they appear to have all the classic Chinese menu items, including twice-cooked pork, green pepper steak, youlinji fried chicken, fried rice, gyoza, and chop suey. It looks like they also have set meals for lunch〜

Final Thoughts
A 20% discount on everything and 250-yen beer for the opening campaign is a pretty great deal〜! I’d definitely like to stop by at least once before Tuesday the 10th. By the way, the semi-basement space on the east side of the same building (where Köln used to be) is now an Asian food specialty shop〜
