The FamilyMart planned for the former site of “Seven-Eleven Shio-Ashiya” in Kaiyocho looks like it will open sometime in July or later.

↑ A construction notice sign was posted. For some reason, it’s written in super laid-back handwritten lettering.
The planned construction period is May 15 to July 31, so it feels like the opening will be in July at the earliest. It looks like it will be a single-story building, with no second floor or basement level.

↑ This is the planned site of the “FamilyMart.” The Seven-Eleven building has been demolished, and the site is now vacant land.

The address is 10-5 Kaiyocho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Nearby Information for the Planned “FamilyMart” Site

↑ Along Ashiya City Road Yoko Kaiyo Line, you can see “Shio-Ashiya Onsen SPA Suishun” at the back of the site.

↑ If you go this way, to the east, there’s a residential area, and if you keep following the road you’ll reach Hamakaze Ohashi Bridge.

↑ If you go the opposite way, to the west, you’ll find the drugstore “Welcia Life Garden Shio-Ashiya” and “Super Maruhachi Minami-Ashiyahama,” among others.

↑ Across the street is around Building No. 4 of the Prefectural Minami-Ashiyahama High-Rise Housing complex.
Final Thoughts

↑ The neighboring “Shio-Ashiya Genki Footbath,” which used to be managed by the same organization that operated “Seven-Eleven Shio-Ashiya,” is also currently closed. It seems this footbath will be operated by Marina Japan Co., Ltd. and opened to the public for free, but I wonder when it will reopen.
